Trường Tiểu học Đặng Thùy Trâm đã thực hiện lớp học mở cho học sinh khối 1 và khối 2 giúp tạo ra một môi trường học tập tự nhiên và thoải mái, đồng thời giúp học sinh kết nối trực tiếp với tự nhiên và thế giới xung quanh mình. Thay vì bị gò ép trong không gian lớp học đóng kín, học sinh được tự do di chuyển, khám phá và tận hưởng không gian tự nhiên, từ sân trường, vườn cây đến những không gian mở. Điều này không chỉ giúp nâng cao sự tương tác giữa học sinh và môi trường, mà còn kích thích sự tò mò và khám phá, góp phần xây dựng tinh thần khám phá và yêu thiên nhiên cho các em.
Đối với học sinh khối 1, bài học Body Hygiene giúp học sinh học cách chăm sóc và bảo vệ cơ thể thông qua các trò chơi, hoạt động phân loại khăn và thực hành rửa tay đúng các bước.
Đối với học sinh khối 2, bài học Land Plants giúp học sinh học về các loại thực vật và các bộ phận của thực vật thông qua các trò chơi, hoạt động làm cây xanh bằng đất sét và tìm hiểu các loại cây trong vườn cây của trường.
To create a novel learning environment that engages students more in their lessons, Dang Thuy Tram Primary School has implemented open-air classes for students in grades 1 and 2, creating a natural and comfortable learning environment while allowing students to directly connect with nature and the world around them. Instead of being confined within enclosed classrooms, students are free to move, explore, and enjoy outdoor spaces, from the schoolyard to gardens and open areas. This not only enhances the interaction between students and their environment but also stimulates curiosity and exploration, contributing to the development of a spirit of discovery and love for nature.
For grade 1 students, the lesson on Body Hygiene helps them learn how to take care of and protect their bodies through games, and activities involving sorting towels and practicing proper handwashing techniques.
For grade 2 students, the lesson on Land Plants helps them learn about different types of plants and their parts through games, and activities such as making clay models of plants and exploring the various plants in the school garden.
